This award honors a member who has taken on a huge task or project that will help change or improve the unclaimed property profession for years to come.
Jamie has made his mark with UPPO as a constant and dedicated volunteer for many years. He has served on their Government Relations and Advocacy committee since 2014 and served as co-chair from 2020 to 2023. He has also been a member of the Nominating Committee for the past several years and most recently served as its chair. Jamie has helped to draft amicus briefs for UPPO and drafted testimony to be used in the state of Ohio House Bill 348, which was subsequently withdrawn. This led a GRAC work group to identify issues around data privacy and security.
